We understand that travel plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both our guests and our small family-owned campground.

Daily / Weekly
No refunds for early departures. Cancellations made 4 days or more out are subject to a $25 fee + 10% of booking total. Cancellations made less than 3 days out will not be refunded. For holidays, you must cancel more than 7 days out to get a refund (minus cancellation fees.)

4-Weekly
No refunds for early departures. 4-weekly rentals are subject to a $50 fee + 5% of booking total if canceled more than 3 months out from your reservation arrival date. Within two months, the fee is $100 + 10%. Within 1 month, the fee is $200 + 20%. There will be no refunds for 4-weekly guests who cancel less than a month from arrival date. 

Tropical Weather & Evacuation Policy
Legends of the Bayou RV Park is located in a low-lying area of Hancock County, Mississippi, and may be affected by tropical weather events, including heavy rainfall, flooding and high winds.  Campers are responsible for monitoring current weater conditions and staying informed of potential threats.

Park management will communicate any official evacuation recommendations or requirements as conditions warrant.  However, Legends of the Bayou assumes no responsibility or liability for damage to or loss of personal property, including RVs, vehicles or other belongings.

It is the sole responsibility of each camper to ensure the safety and security of their RV and personal property.  Campers who choose to leave their RV or belongings onsite during a tropical weather event, do so at their own risk and assume all responsibility for any damage resulting from flooding, wind or other weather-related conditions.

In the event of an official evacuation order affecting the campground, a refund or credit will be issued for the portion of the reservation corresponding to the evacuation period.
