Reserve Your RV Site Well in Advance
Cruisin’ The Coast is one of the busiest weeks of the year on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. RV parks throughout Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties fill quickly, and many returning guests reserve their favorite sites nearly a year in advance. Many guests travel with enclosed trailers carrying their prized classic cars, and we understand those needs. We’ll do our best to accommodate RVs traveling with car trailers whenever possible. Cruisin’ The Coast isn’t just a car show—it’s a week-long festival spread across dozens of miles of the Mississippi Coast.
Instead of taking place in one convention center or fairground, events are hosted in multiple coastal communities including Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Gulfport, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, and several other official venues. Each stop features rows of beautifully restored vehicles, live entertainment, food vendors, merchandise, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow car enthusiasts.
One of the best parts of the event is that every day feels different. Many participants spend the week exploring a new venue each morning before cruising scenic Beach Boulevard in the afternoon.
How to Register Your Vehicle
If you’re bringing a qualifying classic vehicle and want to participate in the official activities, you’ll need to register with Cruisin’ The Coast.
Registration includes access to official venues, a participant packet, event schedule, commemorative items, and reserved parking at designated cruise sites. Early registration is strongly encouraged, and on-site registration is available only if space remains. Vehicle eligibility, registration deadlines, fees, and event details are updated annually on the official Cruisin’ The Coast website.

You’ll find Show ’N Shines featuring immaculate classic cars, organized cruises along the beach, live concerts, evening block parties, celebrity appearances, swap meets, the CTC/Vicari Auto Auction, and the famous parade. Every official venue has its own personality, making it worthwhile to explore several different communities during your stay. Many visitors spend one day exploring Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian before heading east later in the week to Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula.
Tips for Enjoying the Week
Cruisin’ The Coast is incredibly fun, but it’s also one of the busiest times of the year on the Mississippi Coast.
Plan for extra travel time, especially along U.S. Highway 90. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, folding chairs, water, and a camera are all worthwhile additions to your day bag. October weather is typically pleasant, but afternoons can still be warm, so dressing in layers is often a good idea.
Most importantly, don’t rush. Some of the best memories come from simply finding a shady spot along the beach, listening to live music, and watching hundreds of beautifully restored classics roll by.
